1979 HONDA CIVIC “CVCC” STATION WAGON # WBA5013922. (Stock #3745.) These first generation Civics were adorable but most were driven hard and far and have disappeared over the past 37 years. Our car, in its original Elysre Bronze color, has been carefully kept through the decades and was traded in to our local Honda dealership a few years ago and purchased by a local woman for her daughter to commute to school. The daughter failed to perceive the cute, collectible and cool factor of the car and refused to drive it. Her mother then sold the car to her brother, a true “car guy” who appreciated the car. However as his garage grew to the overflow stage, he traded three of his cars to us on a beautiful XKE Jaguar. Despite the fact that the Honda does not occupy much space, it was one of the three. 1979 was the final year of production of the first generation cars and featured many improvements over the 8-year span of production.. Our car is equipped with the venerable and very economical 4-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission with floor shift. Other features include the original AM-FM radio, twin outside rear-view mirrors, rear window defroster and factory roof rack. Excellent original condition throughout. 95,498 miles.
