1982 CORVETTE “T-TOP” COUPE #1G1AX8784C5H111898. (Stock #3675). 1982 saw the introduction of the first fuel injected Corvette in 20 years. The first of the Corvettes built at the famous Bowling Green (Kentucky) assembly plant, and powered by the “L-83” 5.7 litre “cross-fire” injected V-8 engine, the 1982 Corvette was the final year of production of the “C-3” style, and the last year that the original 1963 Sting Ray frame was utilized. 1982 also saw the introduction of a new automatic transmission, a 4-speed with lock-out for each gear! (Manual transmissions were not available for 1982 Corvettes…) The car was offered with removable glass roof panels and a 24 gallon gas tank, both originally fitted. Our car had its engine, transmission and suspension rebuilt 10 years ago; a new fuel pump and filter, new alternator and battery were all installed within the last 100 miles. Finished in yellow with grey interior, this is an excellent driving car offering at a minimal cost. 89,712 miles. $12,900.
