1953 FORD F-100 “50TH ANNIVERSARY” PICK-UP TRUCK # F10D3S13385. (Stock # 3910.) Twenty-five years ago, a local customer found this completely original but well-weathered truck near his farm in Pennsylvania. He purchased the truck and then commissioned a full body-off-chassis restoration. Since completion of the comprehensive restoration, the truck has been garaged at the family farm until having just been driven down to The Stable for sale. The body is gorgeous in red, the bed has been beautifully varnished and the interior is still original and in good condition. Power is from the original 215 cubic inch 6-cylinder engine with a 3-speed (“three-on-the-tree”) manual transmission. 1953 was a unique year for Ford trucks. That was the year of the “50th Anniversary Edition” pick-ups and is identified as such by a special 50th Anniversary horn button. This was also unique year for Ford pick-ups with a slanted cab window and more interior room than the prior Ford pick-ups. Ours is gorgeous and ready to show, drive anywhere or put to work. 48,322 miles. $38,000.
