1987 JAGUAR XJ6. #SAJAV1349HC475930.
(Stock #4317.) The Series III XJ-6 is acclaimed to be one of the most handsome Jaguar sedans to come from Coventry and probably the most pleasant and reliable of vintage Jaguars to drive. 1987 was the final year of production of these cars and prime examples are very difficult to find. This car, finished in very desirable Moorland Green, is absolutely pristine and completely original. The Biscuit leather and polished walnut interior trim are literally as new as are the carpets and original carpet overlays. The car was sold new to Dr. Keith Bryson of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, in April of 1987. Dr. Bryson moved with his Jaguar to Bowling Green, Kentucky and, 22 years after his original purchase, his as-new Jaguar, then with 4,185 miles, was sold by his estate to a collector in Georgia. The car remained in Georgia for another 10 years where it was driven an additional 7,018 miles. For the first time since its original sale, the car left the South in 2019 and was purchased by a serious Jaguar collector, a long-time customer of The Stable, Ltd, in Pipersville, Pennsylvania. He immediately sent his new pride-and-joy to his local Jaguar Dealership for a complete inspection and servicing as needed; mileage at that time was 11,203. Now, having driven the car just over 1,000 careful miles during his 4 years of ownership, that collector is relinquishing his rights to a car which is certainly one of the finest original XJ6’s extant. The car is accompanied by all original manuals, in their original case, the original factory cassette “JAGUAR XJ6 SERIES III–The Total Driving Experience”-- also in its original case, the cassette disc cleaner in its original case and a Carfax report verifying the provenance of the car from new. A rare opportunity to own a very collectible and equally driveable Jaguar–certainly one of the best available anywhere. 12,379 miles.
