This is one.  We sold three cars to a good customer in Fat hills, NJ over the years –a Ferrari Testarossa, and two Mercedes-Benz 560SL’s. Over the years, we sold the Ferrari and his 1989 50SL again for him. But he kept this 1987 560SL, his favorite SL, and gave it to his office manager as a gift for 30 years of service. Mileage on the car at that point was 109,520.  His office manager was worried about putting a scratch on his near-perfect and totally original SL, so drove it only in nice weather, kept the car in a heated garage as he had done, and drove fewer than 2,000 miles over the next 23 years.
