2004 FORD CROWN VICTORIA “LX SPORT” SEDAN #2FDHP74W14X152777. (Stock #4482.).
The Crown "Vic” is one of those car models which somehow has carried with it a special image over its many years of production by Ford. It has been a stalwart of “Police Interceptor” for decades and still makes other drivers slow down when it appears on the highway. Ours is a rather special unit, ordered with the “LX Sport" Package in black with “Dark Charcoal” leather and with a quite unusual list of options, including the "handling package,” traction control, 17” 5-spoke alloy wheels, 4-wheel power disc brakes, ” Laminated Security Side Glass,” ( tinted), dual exhaust system and” adjustable pedals–along with 5-passenger leather seating, 8-way power front seating, rear seat compartment heating, 2-way adjustable head rests, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, dual power heated mirrors, intermittent wipers, electric moonroof, steering wheel-adjustable stereo and and climate controls with trunk-mounted remote CD changer and a factory “trunk organizer.” Crown Vics have scored "Double Five-Stars” in Crash Test Ratings from 1996 through 2003. Our car was ordered and purchased new by a local (New Vernon) resident who obviously knew just what he wanted and maintained the car just how you would expect from such a car enthusiast. The car is also fitted with a police scanner and flashing strobe lights (both hidden) and has been kept in a heated garage during winter months. It has never seen any paintwork, is accompanied by all manuals, service records, showroom brochure, original window sticker and two full sets of keys with remotes. It has been driven an average of fewer than 4,500 miles per year by just one driver since new. Total mileage:96.514 miles. $12,500.
