About Us

Our founder, Thomas Howell Rossiter, “stepping-out” in a 1934 Rolls-Royce 20-25.  Tom founded the Stable, Ltd., in 1973; then a recent matriculated “English and Philosophy Major.” As we all must do, he followed his heart, for all things automotive, and started his business brokering “rolling sculpture” in a re-purposed dairy barn, just steps away from our current showroom.  From a youth spent commuting in an Aston Martin DB4, to a 1965 Ford Mustang GT Convertible, a 1959 Austin Healey, and 1959 Jaguar XK150S Roadster, his passion has never waned.  A dangerous man with a screw driver, or polishing rag, he has always surrounded himself with talented people, and beautiful things.  You’re apt to run into his wife Laura, when you visit.  Rare “Tom-time” is spent with his collection of rescued canines, traipsing the nearby fields…
