1998 Mercedes-Benz SL500 Sport

1998 MERCEDES-BENZ SL-500 COUPE/ROADSTER #WDBFA67F7WF157842.  (Stock #4021.)  Our car was originally delivered to the St. Petersburg, Florida  area where it remained until 2005. At that time, then with 23,000 miles, the car was sold by Crown Mercedes-Benz in St. Petersburg to a customer of theirs in Granville, Ohio. It was serviced there by Crown Mercedes-Benz of Dublin, Ohio until 2014 at which time it moved to Oregon to join other unaltered, near-new cars in a collection. Upon his retirement, a  local Mercedes-Benz enthusiast and customer of ours found it in Oregon in 2015, then with @42,000 miles, and drove it cross country to his home in Morris Township, reporting that it was a delightful and absolutely uneventful drive East. The car is amazingly well-optioned with the rare Panorama detachable hard top in body-matching Black Opal—the electric convertible top is black and in superb condition, the desirable factory AMG Sport Package and a beautiful polished wood and leather steering wheel (also original to the car). The body is magnificent in original Black Opal and the contrasting Parchment leather has also been maintained in amazing original condition. All original manuals and tools are present. The original AM-FM/cassette stereo system with stacking  CD player accompanies the car and a new Pioneer CD sound system with navigation has been carefully retrofitted to the car. 55,041 miles.
