1984 LAGONDA SERIES II SALOON #SCFDL0151ETL13333. (Stock #4160.) Upon purchasing Lagonda Automobiles, in 1947, Aston Martin was able to resurrect the famous Lagonda name and assign it to their high-speed, ultra luxurious 4-door sedan. The Series II cars were powered by the fabulous 4-cam V-8 engine from their 1980's Aston Martin sports cars and offered luxury which only the British could create. “The performance of a Ferrari and the luxury of a Rolls-Royce” was the description given the cars by Road and Track Magazine. Aston Martin built just 645 of these futuristic cars which were, at the time, the most expensive sedans in the world. It was, in fact, a 4-door supercar. Our car is beautiful in original black with very nice original Parchment leather and burl walnut facia and cabin trim. It was sold new in New York and then taken with that family to Oregon before being sold to Holmdel, NJ in 2002, then with just over 10,000 miles and on to another New Jersey collector in 2004,then with 15,512 miles. He kept the car in his eclectic collection for 13 year until his passing. We are now selling the car for his estate with fewer than 18,000 miles. SOLD!
