1989 MERCEDES-BENZ 560SL COUPE/ROADSTER. #WDBBA48D1KA102276.
(Stock #4405.) The handsome, powerful and comfortable 560SL was the last iteration of the “107” SL series, which was introduced in 1972 by Mercedes-Benz as a 350SL. 1989 was the last year of production, the only year in which Mercedes-Benz offered ABS anti-locking braking and is the most desirable of the series. Our car is absolutely beautiful in its original (#355) Diamond Blue Metallic (body and hardtop) with very nice and all original (#272) navy blue leather and (#744) navy blue convertible top. The car’s original alloy wheels have just been fitted with new General tires at each corner and the car is still fitted with its original Becker “Grand Prix” AM-FM stereo system. We purchased this car in 2003 from its local (Mendham) owner and sold it to the woman from whom, following 16 years of ownership, we have just repurchased it. The car has been maintained in wonderful condition cosmetically and mechanically with service records present from the date of her purchasing the car from us. It is also accompanied by its original owner’s manuals, factory tool kit, an unblemished Carfax report and even its original factory window sticker. This 2-top convertible car drives exactly as it should. It can be shown at Mercedes-Benz Club of America events and local shows or on tours and rallies or driven every day. 81,351 miles. $38,000.
