1990 ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER SPUR “II” SALOON #SCAZNO2D4LCX31100. (Stock #4144.) In 1980, the venerable Silver Shadow was replaced by an entirely new car—the Silver Spirit. Shortly thereafter, its top-of-the line brethren--with 4” more interior room in the rear compartment-- the Silver Spur, was introduced. Many mechanical advancements occurred over the years, but the popular design remained basically the same. In 1990, a substantially advanced version of the Silver Spur was built keeping the same design. The Silver Sour II was only built for 2 years but was a refined example of an already very luxurious car. Our car was ordered by a woman in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania with many interesting options. Aside from all of the factory accoutrements which one would expect in “the finest car in the world," our car was ordered and fitted with air horns, a Pioneer”KEX” stereo system, rear seat folding picnic tables in walnut matching the car's facia and cabin trim, a rear seat armrest which opens to access a secure compartment, movable foot rests to the rear compartment, adjustable rear seats with individual seat squabs, R.-R badges to the rear sides of the roof, wheel finishers with body-matching painted rings, a roll-top lid to the front compartment storage bin in seat-matching leather, duchess straps to both rear seats and a “Sundym” tinted windscreen, since the owner spent time at her second home in Florida. The car is beautifully finished in cream with spectacular tan leather piped in body-matching color, with fabulous inlaid polished walnut facia and cabin trim with matching rear compartment lighted vanity mirrors and individual folding picnic tables.. Our car was kept by its original owner until, in 2017, she sold her treasured car which had then covered fewer than 13,000 miles, to a neighbor. He enjoyed the car for week-end drives until he suffered a major medical issue and has just sold the car to us with just 14,285 miles. SOLD!
