The 6-cylinder, air-cooled, “911”series
Porsches ended with the “993” series of cars,
introduced in 1995. These cars were an immediate
success and have grown in collectability ever since the
end of their production in 1998 when Porsche ended
the air cooled cars. Our “993” cabriolet was sold new
on September 15, 1994 in Woodmere, New York.
Driven just 6,000 miles in its first 6 years, the car was
then sold by our local Porsche dealer as a
“Certified”car to a local (Bedminster) family. They
only wanted a pristine, nearly-new example and only
with the “Tiptronic” transmission and, upon
purchasing this one, they pampered the car from 2001
until now. In their 18 years of ownership, they covered
even fewer miles per year than the car’s original
owners. The car is completely original in its beautiful
“Night Blue” with navy blue convertible top, light grey
leather and the optional and rare 2-tone dash. Full
