1996, Jaguar introduced an entirely new sports/luxury car,
The XK-8. Available in coupe or convertible form, the car
was both beautiful and quick. In 2003, many mechanical
improvements were bestowed upon the car including a
larger 4.2 litre V-8 engine and a 6-speed automatic
transmission. With these improvements, the 2-ton luxury
car was capable of a 0-60 mile per hour acceleration time of
6.3 seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 155
mph. Safety features abound on the car including twin front
and side airbags with head protection chambers, 4 wheel
ABS front and rear ventilated power disc brakes with
emergency braking assist, stability control, traction control,
headlight washers, fog lights and self-leveling, dusk sensing,
Xenon high intensity headlamps. Luxury is evident
everywhere in the car with fabulous burl walnut facia and
trim, beautiful leather, electric features including seats (also
headed and with memories), windows, convertible top,
mirrors, locks, etc., premium stereo system with remote
stacking CD player, factory 19” alloy wheels with high-
speed, Z-rated tires plus all standard luxury features. Ours
