Built in 2004 and titled as a Pennsylvania “Special Construction.” Originally titled in Indianapolis.
The chief designer of the car was Andrew Broadley who is the son of Eric Broadley of Lola who was the designer of the original GT40. This is not a kit car; it was built by hand by Indy car techs at Indianapolis.
The body is carbon fiber composite with carbon fiber inner paneling (except roof)
Chassis: powder coated tubular steel chassis with roll bar and side impact protection
Front Suspension: tunable; powder painted tubular upper and lower control arms with Koni coil overs. Adjustable swaybar.
Rear suspension: powder painted reverse wishbone with trailing arms, all helm jointed; Koni coil overs
Brakes: Wilwood racing brake calipers with slotted/drilled rotors all around; Tilton racing pedal assembly with Indy car gas pedal. Dual master cylinders
Engine: Ford Racing 392 crate stroker (500 HP) with aluminum 10:1 compression heads and roller valvetrain induction; aluminum intake with single Holley 4-barrel carburetor
Canton oil pan
Electric fuel pump/dual fuel tanks
Ignition is complete MSD system
Exhaust system: all stainless steel including Promuff muffler. Headers built and collectors tuned by Indy car techs
Radiator: aluminum with dual fans. Pure silicone race hoses; integrated air bleeds and recovery tank
Transaxle: Renault 5-speed (per Lotus Turbo V8). Driveshafts 110 mm cv joints
Leather interior. Air conditioning. This car is a replica of one of the most successful chassis in motoring history, GT40 #1075 which won LeMans in 1968 and 1969. This car is presented in 1969 Gulf livery as driven by Jackie Ikyx and Jackie Oliver!
