1992 MERCEDES-BENZ 190E “2.6" SEDAN #WDBDA29D1NF9920687. (Stock #4239.) Introduced in 1982, the small “190E” sedan was introduced to a welcoming public. With famous Mercedes-Benz build quality, it was a handsome, comfortable, small, nice-handling car with luxury features, comfort and outstanding longevity. It's 4-cylinder engine provided adequate power for highway cruising and a top speeed of 112 miles per hour. When the 6-cylinder fuel injected engine from the larger Mercedes-Benz sedan was introduced, to the 190E as an option, the car gained additional appreciation, interest and performance. It's top speed was now 132 mph and the “W201” car became a great all-around car with performance now added to the impressive list of luxury features. A local (Chester) true car enthusiast owner inherited this car from his detail-oriented father who had kept the car in amazingly pristine condition. The son had the car thoroughly serviced and prepared for any use, but has run out of garage space. This is the one car which doesn't really fit in with his substantial collection of high-performance sports cars.
