1985 ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER SPUR LONG WHEELBASE SALOON #SCAZN42A1FCX13719. (Stock #4105.) The top-of-the-line Silver Spur was introduced in 1981 as the long wheelbase, luxury version of the Silver Spirit, a completely new car introduced earlier that year. The Silver Spur was easily recognized from the exterior by the extra 4” of length in the rear doors (and rear passenger compartment) and by the padded Everflex roof which was standard to the model. Our car was delivered new to a family with homes in New York City and Essex, Connecticut and was owned by them until 1992 at which time it was sold, then with 28,000 miles, to an enthusiast in Caldwell, New Jersey. He treasured the car for the next 28 years, adding @17,000 miles during that period of time. The car is finished in Magnolia (light ivory) with dark saddle brown leather with piping matching the body color, tan carpeting and a dark brown Everflex padded roof. Polished burl walnut surrounds the lucky occupants—the facia, cabin trim, rear folding beverage trays and rear lighted vanity mirrors are all beautiful. The car is in superb condition throughout. and drives exactly as it should. 45,864 miles. SOLD!
