1941 CADILLAC SERIES 62 CONVERTIBLE SEDAN #B348869. (Stock #4468.) 1941 was an unusual year for the top-of-the-line Cadillac–it was the last year of any 4-door convertible for Cadillac and 1941 was the year  of many instantly recognizable body changes for Cadillac itself. Only 400 examples of the incredibly elegant Series 62 4-door convertibles were built and, of course, are full Classic car Club of America (CCCA) Certified cars. Of the 400, few were built with the highly desirable manual transmission and this one is fitted with a high-speed rear end which enables it to drive at highway speeds in comfort. Ours was owned for more than a decade  by the internationally known Cadillac collector, John Milliken. There is a copy of a letter from Mr. Milliken to the fellow from whom he purchased the car, reporting on his hours long drive home in California. “The car is most comfortable on the freeway at 65 mph . Ir ran great, steeedr straight, the heater works great.  It started raining in Santa Barbara and kept raining all the way  Sunday night ntil I got home.  I averaged a bit over 14mpg and used no oil or water. The car made me very happy on this trip and now I know that I can trust the car on long distances."
