1957 Morris Minor Convertible

1957 MORRIS MINOR CONVERTIBLE. #MAT3L732906. (Stock #3514.) Few of these little Minors are available today, very few in convertible form, and extremely limited numbers of left-hand drive (U.S. delivery) Minor convertibles may be found–and probably no others equipped as this one. Ours is one of those few and we purchased it from a local (Peapack) woman who owned the car for decades since high school. With its 948 cc 4-cylinder engine, it is no candidate for the race track, but is equipped with a 4-speed transmission and “knock-off” wire wheels giving it a sporty look and feel. Finished in Safety yellow with tan convertible top and top boot. The car has additionally been fitted with rack and pinion steering and front disc brakes to go with its “knock-off” wire wheels. Recently, this car received extensive service work including a full tune-up, brakes, wheel cylinders, battery, starter rebuild, new motor mounts, new wire wheel hubs, 4 new tires, etc. A perfect car for a vacation house or week-end tours. $15,000.
