1965 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 MK III

The MK III roadster was the final iteration of the
fabulous “Big Healey.” Ours is a beautifully restored,
California “Black Plate” car, restored in original
Colorado Red (as per its accompanying British
Heritage Trust Certificate) with cream coves and
black leather with dark red piping and polished wood
facia. Powered by its original 3-litre, 150 h.p., twin
carburetor engine and 4-speed manual transmission
with electric overdrive, the car is fitted with 15”
“knock-off” wire wheels, seat belts, driver-side rear-
view mirror, chrome fog lamps, black convertible top
and matching tonneau cover. The original numbers
and Colorado red/black interior/black top are
confirmed by the accompanying British Heritage
Trust Certificate. The car was delivered new to
Charleston, South Carolina soon moved to
Watsonville, California before spending the last 20
years (and 7000 miles) in New England and New
Jersey as a sunny week-end driver. Service records,
owner’s manual and Heritage Certificate are present.
