(Stock #3941. 1989 was the final year of production of
the fabulous “107” body style which was introduced in
1971 and underwent many iterations during its 19
year run. The final form—the 560SL—was powered
by the incredibly strong, twin timing chain, 5.6 litre,
fuel-injected “V-8” engine which lent very impressive
performance to the car. With both convertible and
detachable hard tops, the car was also equipped with
climate control, cruise control, electric windows, locks
and antenna, twin outside rear-view mirrors, leather
seating surfaces, 15”factory alloy wheels, driver air
bag, fog lamps and an AM-FM stereo system (our car
has had a more modern unit installed.) Finished in
Signal Red (body and hard top) with black leather,
carpets and convertible top, our car was purchased
@20 years ago by its local (Bernardsville) owner from
Mercedes-Benz of Morristown. Used only as a very
occasional, sunny-day car wince then, the car is only
now due for its 60,000 miles service which we will be
performing prior to the car’s departure. It is in
excellent condition throughout and is complete with
original manuals, tools and factory first aid kit. 59,897
