Its Garrett turbocharged, 6.75 litre, 400 horsepower (with 619 ft.lbs of torque), Rolls-Royce V-8 engine and adaptive automatic transmission with Sport Mode, combine to offer a 0-60 acceleration time of 5.9 seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 155 miles per hour—this from a 5,560 pound, absolute luxury car! Finished in Mason's Black with the cabin surrounding the occupants in fine tan Connolly hides, Wilton carpets and polished burr walnut facia and cabin trim along with a multitude of luxury features. Our car was sold new in Holmdel, NJ and was dealer-serviced for their 11 years and 30,000 miles of ownership, being garaged--depending on the season-- either in Holmdel or Palm Beach, Florida. It then passed on, with 31,267 miles, to a Stable collector/customer in Stockton, NJ. . In 2015, the Bentley was traded in to us by its collector/owner, then with 33,355 miles, on a pristine 1951 Ford Country Squire wagon. We then sold the car to another Stable customer who took the car home to Rancho Mirage, California where it became known as “big Ben” as it shared a garage with “Little Ben”, a Bentley GTC convertible. Upon that customer's passing, we repurchased the car from his estate, installing the prerequisite updated engine head gasket at 38,892 miles.
