1972 TRIUMPH TR-6 ROADSTER ; CHASSIS
#CC/80390-UO, ENGINE #CC/80518-UE.
(Stock #3924.) The Triumph TR-6 was the last of the true
vintage British roadsters. With its handsome design,
substantial power from its 2.5 litre, twin carburetor, 6-
cylinder engine, rack-and-pinion steering and front disc
brakes, it has true sports car handling characteristics. Built
from 1968 through 1976, the most desirable examples are
those built with chrome bumpers and standard ride height,
the construction of which ended with the 1974 models. Our
car was delivered new to an American living in Madrid,
Spain, then spent most of its life in San Diego, California
before moving to Florida, being purchased there with 59,980
miles by a local (Mendham) enthusiast in 2002 and moving
to New Jersey. Beautiful in Sapphire Blue with original
black interior with a walnut veneer facia, our car is
accompanied by it British Heritage Trust Certificate
authenticating the original colors, equipment and numbers.
It is also accompanied by its convertible top boot and
tonneau cover as well as its original owners manual and
service records. Driven fewer than 10,000 miles while owned
by our local customer, the car has been carefully preserved
and is in excellent condition throughout. 68,898 miles.
