1974 TRIUMPH TR-6 CONVERTIBLE. #CF17854U. (Stock #4322.) The Triumph TR-6 was the last of the true vintage British roadsters, with its handsome design and substantial power from its 2.5 litre, twin carburetor, 6-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission, with excellent handling capability from its rack-and-pinion steering, power front disc brakes, independent rear suspension, etc. Its 150 horsepower engine provides a 0-60 miles-per-hour acceleration time of 8.2 seconds and a top speed of 119 mph. Our car sat for decades in a small sports car collection before being discovered and purchased, along with another interesting 1970’s sports car, by one of our enthusiasts/customers. He had it brought back to excellent mechanical condition and is now concentrating on the other car, a very early Datsun 240Z. The car was repainted decades ago in its original and very handsome color of French Blue (factory paint code 126) and the original black interior is nice. The new black convertible top needs to have its fitting improved upon, and cosmetic things here and there need minor attention. But, this is a very solid, and attractive, low mileage, great-driving car. 60,213 miles. SOLD!
