(Stock #3961.) The 560SL was the last iteration of the
acclaimed “107” body style of Mercedes-Benz. It was
introduced as the 350SL in 1971 and carried on, with many
improvements along the way, until 1989. The final form of
the car was the 560SL and it incorporated a twin timing
chain, fuel-injected 5.6 litre V-8 engine which has proven
itself over the years to be virtually indestructible. Safety
features include driver side airbag and ABS anti-lock brakes
while luxury features include: cruise control, climate
control, electric windows, locks, antenna and rear defogger
in hardtop, factory alloy wheels, both detachable hard top
and stow-away convertible top, original Becker Europa AM-
FM/cassette stereo system, leather interior, factory fog
lamps, etc. Our car was purchased by a local Mercedes-Benz
enthusiast from the Mercedes-Benz dealership—Benzel-
Busch—which had previously serviced the car, Every
original manual is present along with the factory first aid kit
and Mercedes-Benz service records. The almost unmarked
white body and detachable hard top are complemented by a
beautiful tan leather interior and brown convertible top.
