(Stock #4136.). The A-4 model Audi was introduced in 1994 as a mid-size sport-luxury car. As with most European cars, the series has undergone many improvements, safety-enhancements and upgrades through its development. Ours is the 4th generation of the A-4 and, as such, is powered by a 220 hp TSFI engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission as well, of course, as the fabulous Audi Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The car offers safety features front airbags, front-side curtain airbags, power 4-wheel ABS disc brakes on all 4 wheels, all-wheel drive, electronic stability control, etc. features simply not available on earlier German luxury cars. Our car, classically finished in “Brilliant Black” with black leather, is the “Premium Plus” upgraded model, equipped with niceties such as the “S-Class” exterior trim package, power glass sunroof, 3-zone climate control, leather interior, heated 8-way power front seats with driver memory, auto-dimming rear view mirror, heated mirrors and windshield washers, daytime running lights and taillights, “Xenon-Plus” LED headlamps, automatic headlight leveling, keyless entry, 10-speaker Audi Concert stereo system with Sirius XM satellite, advanced navigation system with voice control and Blue-tooth connectivity, "Parking System Plus” with rear-view camera, etc. Our car was sold new locally and Audi Dealership-serviced during that owner's five year ownership, then sold as a “Certified pre-owned car by Audi to another local (Gladstone) couple who has also had Audi maintain the car. The car has now been traded into us on a Porsche Carrera, making that couple a 3-Porsche family. As an Audi Certified car, it was subject to the Audi “300 plus point" Certified Program, completed just 16 months and 7000 miles ago.
