1987 ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER SPIRIT SALOON #SCAZS42A5HCX16487. (Stock #4152.)
The original local owner of this car kept one Rolls-Royce and one Bentley at each of his two houses—one in California and one here. When he sold his New Jersey residence, we purchased the two cars garaged there—this is one. This was the original owner's first Rolls-Royce and his appreciation and care of the car are obvious. The original Masons Black paint is gorgeous and the original black leather (with dark red piping) still looks and smells almost as new. The dark burl walnut interior trim is magnificent and only enhances the opulent feel of the car. Twelve years ago we sold the car to a local family who carefully kept the car in the garage of their Princeton home. Being British car enthusiasts (they spend a fair amount of time at their home in London), their Rolls-Royce was garaged next to their Jaguar and received loving care. The car has been consistently driven approximately 2,000 miles per year since new-- @46,000 miles in the first 22 years of ownership, during which it enjoyed the garages of its first owner, and @13,000 miles during the 12 years it has enjoyed being housed in the Princeton heated garage since then. Original manuals, tools, service records and instruction cassette are present with the car and it enjoys full provenance since new. 58,862 miles. SOLD
